Wanda has taught portraiture, landscapes on location and basic artistic principles at Englewood Art Center, Visual Art Center in Punta Gorda, and Northport Art Center, all in Florida.

She belongs to the Portrait and Figure Society of SW Florida, Arts Alliance of Lemon Bay, the Arts and Humanities Council of Charlotte County and the Northport Art Center.

She is also an accomplished musician playing alto sax in two swing bands in Charlotte County.

They will be performing once a month on the second Sunday of the month except for January and February. They will be held on the first Sunday of the month. Concerts begin at 3:00 p.m. in the theater, at the Cultural Center in Port Charlotte, Fl. She also plays in Fred Capitelli's INGROOV BIG BAND on Wednesday afternoons at the cCultural Center in the Music Room.

Wanda was a music major for two years in college and then switched majors to Early Childhood Education. Music was always an important part of her life.  She continues to paint, play, and feed her spirit with those two loves.
